In order to connect your team's GSuite environment with Charlie, you'll need to create a "routing rule" in the Google Admin panel (note that you'll need to be a domain administrator to access these settings):

  1. In your Google Admin console (at admin.google.com)...

  2. (Optional) On the left, select the organization to apply the rule to.

  3. Scroll to the Routing setting in the Routing section, point to the setting, and click Configure. If the setting is already configured, point to the setting and click Edit or Add another.

  4. Enter "BCC Route to Charlie" as the name of the setting.

  5. In the "1. Messages to affect" section, tick any message types you would like in Charlie (at a minimum, we recommend Inbound and Outbound, but you can also include internal mail should you prefer).

  6. In the "3. For the above types of messages, do the following" section, scroll down to the "Also deliver to" section and tick the checkbox next to "Add more recipients".

  7. Add a new Basic recipient with a recipient address of {YOUR_TEAM_BCC_EMAIL}@charlie.io.

Testing Your Connection
โ€‹
To test that your connection is working correctly, simply send an email from any email address in your GSuite domain to an external address. If the routing rule has been set up correctly, you should see the email appear in Charlie in a matter of moments!

If you're having trouble getting it set up, feel free to contact support!
